Moorgreen Recreation Ground has one recently refurbished tennis court situated next to a children's playground area that has a climbing frame, swings and other playground equipment, as well as a grassed area that may be used for other sporting activities or for dog walking. In addition, the recreation ground has a young people's center for young persons aged 8-18+ years with video game consoles, computers, table tennis and other indoor entertainment. Moorgreen tennis court may be more appropriate for casual day-time play as it lacks lights and the car park is locked after hours, although it is still accessible by foot.
