WHAT IS THE BOODLES TENNIS?
The Boodles Tennis is an annual five-day tennis exhibition held in the beautiful gardens of Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire, one week before Wimbledon. This event allows its guests to enjoy some summer days, watching some of the top players in the world play several matches accompanied by glasses of champagne and dishes of the best cuisine.
A BIT OF ITS HISTORY
Since its opening in 2002, the Boodles quickly became one of the must-go events of the summer. In its first four years, it gained so much popularity that the Boodles decided to add a fifth day to the event in 2005 and an elite group of world-class players gathered to compete for the title. In 2007 tickets sold out quickly, and thanks to appearances by world-class players like Novak Djokovic and Fernando Verdasco, the event gradually became an elite annual event. In 2009, The Boodles Tennis cemented its place on the social calendar by hosting some of the world’s top players for the eighth consecutive year. Not to mention that it was already taken for granted that top world-class players would attend the event for years to come.
