Novak Djokovic is set to compete in the Paris 2024 Olympics, marking his fifth Olympic appearance, as confirmed by the Olympic Committee of Serbia. The 37-year-old tennis star has participated in every Summer Games since 2008.

Djokovic’s Olympic journey began with a bronze medal win in 2008, but he has faced disappointment in subsequent Games, losing the third-place match three times. Despite these setbacks, Djokovic has expressed his determination to prioritize the Paris Olympics this year, aiming for the elusive gold medal.

Reflecting on his Olympic ambitions, Djokovic stated in April that Paris 2024 is “a priority” for him. This will be his first return to Paris since he withdrew from the French Open due to a knee injury in his last appearance.

The tennis events at the Paris Olympics will be held at the iconic Roland Garros, the same venue as the French Open, from July 27 to August 4. If you’re as excited as we are, you can see the events with excellent package deals through us, Aceify.

The competition promises to be fierce, with Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal also confirmed to participate. Murray has hinted that the Games might be a fitting occasion for his retirement. On the women’s side, notable absences include world number 10 Ons Jabeur and number 3 Aryna Sabalenka, who have opted out to focus on their health.

Serbia will also be represented by world number 56 Dusan Lajovic in the men’s tournament.
