The Billericay Lawn Tennis Club describes itself as a friendly and social tennis club - join one of its many barbecues. Offering a wide range of facilities, there’s plenty of tennis to go around! The club has ten floodlit outdoor courts available, with 7 all-weather grass and 3 artificial clay surface courts. During the winter months, an airdome is put up covering the courts so you can keep on playing whatever the weather. Coaching sessions are available as well as junior tennis, for younger players to sharpen their tennis skills. The grounds span over 4 acres of secluded land, with plenty of space for a nature walk after a hit or two. Other facilities include on-site changing rooms, toilets, showers, a bar area with TV and seating and a fully equipped kitchen in its clubhouse. The club has flexible membership programmes. To get here, buses 9, 251 and 256 stop just a couple of minutes’ walk away.
