Birchington Bowls Club and Tennis Courts is the perfect place to play tennis in the area. The club has two tennis courts, a clubhouse and a car park. The playing area has been enhanced by additional sports markings for Basketball, Netball and two 5-a-side football pitches. These additions make it easier for the members to use the facilities, as well as provide an extra sporting opportunity for the community in general.
The club has a clubhouse that is perfect for those who want to stay active while enjoying a delicious meal or some drinks. The ramp and steps make the facility accessible, while the toilet facilities have been upgraded to include a new disabled toilet. The modern kitchen offers plenty of space for cooking meals, and there is even a licensed bar available during matches!
Birchington Bowls Club offers members full and junior membership to play in their booked fixtures as well as social membership for those who want to learn the game before committing to full membership. They have three bowling greens that are available at all times, great facilities for socialising, and a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is welcome!
Their courts can be hired on a pre-booked basis, which means that any group - big or small - can enjoy themselves without having to worry about anything.
Birchington Bowls Club and Tennis Courts annual tennis membership is renewable on 1st October each year. The price for juniors, adults, and a family of 2 adults and up to 3 children under 18 is £15, £60, or £120 respectively. This includes social membership for the Adults meaning they can use the Bar and join in any of the winter Social activities plus they can play Bowls for a small fee any morning or on Monday afternoon or Friday Fun Night.
