Bournemouth Gardens Tennis Centre is situated alongside the Bourne Stream within the beautiful Bournemouth Gardens at Central Gardens Cross Path. The facilities are publicly owned but managed by the West Hants Club. The club benefits from 4 floodlit artificial grass courts, 1 floodlit macadam court and 3 acrylic courts covered by an airdome between October and April, so players can play at any time of the day, even in the winter months. The facilities include a clubhouse with changing rooms and showers, disabled access, a licensed bar and cafeteria, a pro shop which sells rackets, balls, tennis clothing and a professional racket stringing service. There is a yearly household access deal that allows you and your whole family to play at Bournemouth Gardens Tennis Centre for 1 hour every day for 1 year at a £75 fee with no additional cost, subject to availability. Otherwise, you can book a court for £8 an hour, and book coaching sessions that are available both for individuals and for groups. There is parking in the Town Hall Forecourt or on Avenue Road for £2.50 and there may also be free street parking on the less busy days, on the surrounding streets. The nearest bus stop is St Joseph's Home bus stop just a 3-minute walk away from the tennis courts, where you can catch the 36 bus.
