Edgbaston Archery & Lawn Tennis Society (E.A.L.T.S), or 'The Archery' as the society known, is the oldest lawn tennis club in the world. Located adjacent to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, it is known for its picturesque surroundings and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The facilities include 6 grass courts, 4 shale courts, 2 floodlit artificial grass courts, as well as multiple tarmac courts. Additionally, there is a full-service clubhouse that include change rooms. They accept new members of all ages and skill levels, including family memberships. The club accommodates both social and competitive tennis, with extensive coaching programs, group lessons, adult/junior teams, club nights, and afternoon mix-ins.
