Middlesex University is home to both Real Tennis Club and TopShotTennis. The Real Tennis Club was founded by Peter Luck-Hille, bringing back traditional tennis to modern audiences. It has one indoor real tennis court. The sport uses pear-shaped rackets and cloth balls, which are harder than lawn tennis balls. To come and try out this sport, visit the Greyhound Hill entrance, located in the MDX House. TopShotTennis, on the other hand, offers lawn tennis; it has three state of the art floodlit tennis courts available for hire year-round. This club provides a great range of sessions for both children and adults with the sole purpose of having fun whilst improving your tennis ability. Coaching sessions run all week; simply choose a time that best suits your schedule. Coaching prices range from £50 to £120 during peak hours and £45 to £110 during non-peak hours. Additionally, for young tennis enthusiasts, holiday camps and events are held throughout the year. The closes tube station is Hendon Central, or take buses 143, 183 and 326 to the club's grounds.
