Portsmouth Indoor Tennis Centre is located at Burnaby Road, Portsmouth PO1 2EL. The club has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with amazing infrastructure to enjoy whilst playing tennis. There are 4 well-lit indoor green and blue acrylic hard courts with disabled access, as well as 5 outdoor floodlit all weather 4G courts and 1 mini court for young children. The club caters to players of all ages and abilities with a variety of programs from Junior Coaching for children aged 2.5 years old to Adult Coaching for anybody above the age of 18. Portsmouth Indoor Tennis Centre was opened by the Royal Navy Lawn Tennis Association (RNLTA) and was one of the first public indoor tennis courts under the LTA's Indoor Tennis Initiative (ITI). Other facilities at Portsmouth Tennis Academy include, changing facilities and toilets, disabled and baby changing facilities, restringing services, a glasshouse with places to sit and to watch your friends or family play tennis in the indoor courts, as well as a coffee shop for hot and cold beverages and snacks. The establishment is situated just opposite the University of Portsmouth and just next to the Portsmouth University's Spinnaker Sports Centre which has multi-use sports hall facilities for other sporting activities. There is a car park on site and The University of Portsmouth bus stops are a 2-minute walk away where you can catch the 7a, 25, 700 Coastliner.
