Sellindge Tennis Club is a great place to play tennis with family and friends. The club has two outdoor, floodlit macadam hard courts which were resurfaced in November 2021. These courts are perfect for all levels of players, and they're also accessible by wheelchair.
Sellindge Tennis Club also has other facilities such as a clubhouse, play park, Bowls Club and large football field. There's really no bad way to spend an afternoon there - the club is sure to have something that will fit your needs
Sellindge Tennis Club runs a number of social sessions to encourage social play and interaction amongst its members. Tuesday and Friday evenings from 7.30 pm is for those who want a more relaxed game of tennis, perfect for beginners to intermediate level. They also have social tennis on Tuesday from 9.15 until 11 am and Wednesday from 10 to 12 which aim to provide an opportunity for members of all ages to get together and enjoy some quality tennis played in a relaxed atmosphere. They also have a session called the 'Sellindge Not So Seniors' with the emphasis on social play for the over 60s.
The club offers competitive leagues for all levels of players. They compete in the Dover (summer league) and Ashford District Leagues for Mens, Mixed and Ladies. Their members have the opportunity to play against some of the best players in the region, learn new skills, and make friends while having fun!
