The Silver End Village Hall Playing Field is a popular spot in the village. It's used for its football facilities by the village and local pub teams, there are also tennis courts which are available to use. When weather permits the local pre-school uses the playing field so that the children can gain some active play outside, and on occasions, there may be a local funfair on the field for the local community to enjoy. The playing field is also very popular with dog walkers and those who just wish to gain some fresh air and exercise.
