The Connaught Club is a fantastic place to play sports. Not only are the facilities top-notch, but the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The club has 2 indoor hard courts, 4 outdoor acrylic courts and 3 shale/clay courts, 2 of which are covered during the winter season by an inflatable dome. It also has an excellent bowling green with 7 rinks, and a gym that offers everything from cardio machines to weights rooms. In addition to all of these recreational activities, the club also hosts social events every week such as drinks receptions and gaming nights.
Inside the pavilion there is a bar serving drinks and snacks, as well as several tables where members can enjoy their meals. There is also a kitchen available for use by visiting chefs or food vendors who want to sell their culinary creations to the general public. The patio features plenty of seating areas where people can relax under some nice weather conditions.
Club Afternoons on Tuesday and Thursday offer an excellent opportunity for social tennis. Just turn up, play your best, and have some fun! Their mens, ladies & mixed teams leagues provide plenty of competition as well as opportunities to improve your skills. And if you're looking for a competitive challenge, competitions are perfect for you.
