Whitton Tennis Club is a friendly and sociable club with various events throughout the year. They welcome new members to join and take part in various activities. Details of their events can be found on the notice boards in the Pavilion, and they are always keen to welcome new members. The highlight of the year is finals weekend, where the club hold competitions for both juniors and seniors. After the trophies have been awarded, they run a BBQ for all members. This is always well supported and provides a great opportunity to socialise with fellow tennis enthusiasts.
The club has three hard courts, one of which has floodlights. The cost of using the floodlights is £4 per hour, and there is a box outside the clubhouse for visitor's fees. There is also a meter inside the clubhouse, which charges for using the floodlights. During social club sessions, the floodlights will turn off automatically at 9:30pm.
