Wivenhoe Tennis Club is a small, friendly club with four superb floodlit all weather courts. The club runs a variety of sessions for juniors and adults, tennis lessons for those new to the sport, regular adult league matches throughout the year, and social events.
The club provides several club sessions each week when members can come along and join in, usually for social doubles play. The club provides balls and floodlights, when necessary.
Wivenhoe Tennis Club runs two separate leagues during the winter and summer months. The men's league is for players who are competitive and want to play in tournaments, while the ladies' league is for players who just want to have fun and improve their skills. There are also mixed teams available for those who would like to compete against both sexes.
The Wivenhoe Tennis Club has everything you need to have a great time playing tennis, from a clubhouse with plenty of space for teams and private matches, to racquets and balls. They also offer lockers, showers, and changing rooms so that you can focus on your game without having to worry about anything else.
Adult memberships at Wivenhoe Tennis Club offer players the opportunity to use the courts for all club play, team and singles matches. Balls and floodlights are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. They also offer junior memberships.
The club also offers floodlights for public pay and play, which makes it possible to enjoy the game even during nighttime hours. If you're not a member of the club, but want to use one of its courts, you can do so for a charge of £5 per hour.
