Bearsted and Thurnham Lawn Tennis Club is a family-orientated tennis club that welcomes all ages and abilities. The club has 5 all-weather courts that include floodlights for late-night tennis. Alongside offering high standards of play, the club also aims to be very social by running social events at weekends and evenings midday. As a result, the Bearsted & Thurnham LTC is perfect for beginners or those who want to get back into playing tennis but don't have any experience or prefer an environment where they are able to chat with their fellow players while playing.
The club is very organised and it is mainly run by its members. If you haven't played before or thinking about whether it's worth joining, the club offer to introduce you to players of similar ability or enrol on a 6-week coaching course. The club also has a clubhouse with a discounted bar.
