Dundonald Recreation club grounds make up over four hectares, enjoy the open air and surrounding greenery. Club facilities include two cricket pitches, three football pitches, a bowling green, a children’s playground, its own pavilion and tennis courts. The club has two hard surface macadam courts without floodlights, which play from 8 am till dusk and from 9 am on weekends. Court booking is required online to avoid disappointment, courts are shared with Dundonald Primary School, therefore there is limited morning availability on weekdays. The club offers free lessons for tennis beginners, adult membership starts from £50 per year. Social tennis games are regularly set up, choose to join cardio tennis as well as competitive tennis with men and ladies teams. To get here the nearest train station is Wimbledon Chase station and Dundonald Road tram stop or take buses: 152, 163 and 164 which all stop nearby. Off-street car parking is available for those choosing to drive.
