Norham Gardens Lawn Tennis Club is a non-profit club run out of Alexandra Courts in Summertown. Courts are owned by Oxford City Council and hosts a friendly atmosphere run by committee members. The club has six all-weather hard courts, as well as a further six grass courts, open during the summer months. Social tennis is organised by its members and held twice weekly. Junior and adult coaching sessions are available, with paid and free options. For players looking to compete, the club has mens and womens teams in the Oxfordshire leagues. During the summer members can also compete in annual summer tournaments. Additionally, members have the opportunity to purchase club allocated tickets to Wimbledon. Pay and display parking is available on site. Members can rent a court for £2 per hour. Pay and play options are available for non-members, visitors can enjoy the courts for as little as £6 per hour.
