SJB Academy specialises in both hockey and tennis sports, for junior players aged from 5 years up to 17 years of age; inclusive of all abilities, welcoming beginners to advanced level players. The academy was set up and is still run by Steve Batchelor, the former Olympic Gold Medallist. It focuses on creating a fun, inspiring place for kids to develop their sporting skills and abilities, whilst making lifelong friends! Classes and individual tuition are set up so each individual player improves their game, by improving fitness, tactical awareness and teamwork. Sessions take place from Cranleigh School. Membership is £50, which lasts from September to August (11 months). Pay per term to take advantage of discounted rates or pay and play per session is available too.
